Elective Modules
Explore a wide range of Elective Modules at Dunman High, from interdisciplinary learning to research programmes. Choose your own path and pursue your passions at your own depth.

At the heart of our Elective Module (EM) programme is a belief that students learn best when they are intrinsically motivated — when they are free to pursue what genuinely excites and interests them. By giving students the autonomy to choose what they wish to learn, we hope to nurture in them a love of learning that extends well beyond their school years, growing them into self-directed, lifelong learners.
From Year 1 through to Year 4, students may apply for up to 2 EMs from a diverse range of offerings, each designed to deepen their curiosity and passion in areas they care about. To support students in pursuing their chosen modules, dedicated time is set aside within the school timetable each week for EM participation. EMs are entirely optional — they exist purely to give students the space to pursue what excites them.
Modules are offered at two levels: Exposure, for students looking to discover new areas of interest, and Mastery, for those who wish to develop a deeper level of expertise.
