School Performance at 2006 O-Level Examination

  • Dunman High students have once again done the school proud by achieving excellent results at the GCE O-level Examination. Among the Sec 4 cohort of 2006, 246 students sat for the O-level examinations. The remaining 133 students are in the Integrated Programme and hence were exempted from the O-level examinations.
  • The 246 students who sat for the O-level examinations have achieved the 2 nd best results in our schoolĄ¯s history (second only to the graduating cohort of 2005). These students have left a beautiful legacy in our journey of O-level preparation, as from this year onward, we will only have 1 class of students taking the O-level examination.
  • About 1 in every 5 Dunmanians had achieved at least 7 A1s last year. Around 75% of them attained an L1R5 of 10 or better. Their Mean Subject Grade was 1.98, which means that, on average, our students scored A2 or better in all their subjects.

We are proud of all our graduated students, especially those who had put in their strongest effort to strive for their personal best or overcome adversity to rise against the odds. Even though these students may not have achieved excellent results, their strength of character will carry them far in life. It is our firm belief that success is not about being the best, but about doing your best.
